By downloading and using Haiker, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About the App

Haiker is a Hacker News client developed and distributed by Randynamic LLC through the Apple App Store. It provides an interface to browse and interact with content from Hacker News.

2. Use of the App

  • You may use Haiker for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You agree not to misuse the app, including but not limited to: attempting to disrupt the service, spamming, or violating Hacker News community guidelines.
  • You are responsible for any activity performed through your Hacker News account when logged in via Haiker.

3. Hacker News Integration

Haiker uses the official Hacker News API to retrieve and display content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Y Combinator or Hacker News.

4. Login and Authentication

  • Login is optional. You may browse all public content without logging in.
  • When you log in, your credentials are sent through our API server to the Hacker News API for authentication. We do not store your credentials on our servers.
  • You can log out at any time from within the app.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • All Hacker News content accessed through Haiker belongs to its respective authors and Y Combinator.
  • The Haiker app design, code, and branding are the property of Randynamic LLC.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Haiker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Randynamic LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
